Jerrd, hope you're keeping well! 💖
'Training Season' has had a fantastic run here, so happy to see it! Solid debut for 'Illusion' as well. How dare Dua release such a summery banger just as summer is ending here Great to see 'B2b' go top 10 this week. Took me a while but I've been properly rinsing it the last few days. I love the unconventional song structure of it. 'Flames' is another mega banger from Geo22 - they are on fire right now. Nice to see them branch out from the Knightcore sound a bit. Also liking the leftfield electronic style of 'OvO' xx |

Hi Jade!
I cannot object to another week at the top for the masterpiece that is 'Capricorn' The sheer quality of the entire top three tho Loving to see 'Mary Boone' continue to reach new heights The album has really stuck with me so far, I just can't stop listening I'm really getting into 'House' now and hopefully they'll release some more singles before the album release. 'Illusion' Maybe the weakest of the flop era's singles but still a massive tune, perfect for the Summer! Advocating the climbs for 'Club Classics'/'B2B', I prefer the former slightly right now but the latter does also have a lot of replay value for me. Great to see 'Too Sweet' enter for the first time, I really didn't expect Hozier to ever get a #1 single after 'Take Me To Church' but I'm really pleased he did. 'Espresso' may be a grower for me but I'm on the fence about it atm. I've seen a lot of hype for the English Teacher album + I love a couple of songs from it so I will check it out soon, hopefully.... 'Flames' is yet another banger from Geo22 as well. |

Also liking the leftfield electronic style of 'OvO' xx Hey Kerthhhh, have been a bit ill this weekend oops but hopefully that will pass soon, hope you're good 💖 It really has! So far it's really cemented itself as my favourite single of the era, as strong as all three have been. Oh no, that is rotten timing for you x Obsessed with this Charli era so far and love that she's going on tour with Shygirl as support *.* glad 'B2b' has clicked with you too, bring on the album! Geo22 do seem consistently fab *.* 'OvO' really stood out to me from the ETOTW poll (must listen to this week's songs in a more timely fashion x) thank you for commenting <3 Hi Jade! Nice to see "Capricorn" at the top and the debuts for "Illusion", "Too Sweet" and "Espresso". Great chart! Take care. Hey Sergej! Happy to hear that you're approving of those four, some good chart hits around at the moment thank you for commenting <3 Hi Jade! I've seen a lot of hype for the English Teacher album + I love a couple of songs from it so I will check it out soon, hopefully.... 'Flames' is yet another banger from Geo22 as well. Hey Nate! I thought you might approve of its longevity at the top *.* 'Mary Boone' is an absolute stunner - really cannot get enough of the album at the moment either! Eagerly anticipating my Blood Records pressing of the vinyl. Happy to hear that 'House' is clicking with you too! Yeah fingers crossed we'll get some more pre-album material. I agree with the assessment that 'Illusion' is the weakest of the singles so far but still a bop! Both that and 'Espresso' are serving such summery videos at the moment (here's hoping the latter will grow on you, I was a bit unsure about the lyrics at first but it's proven to be such an earworm). 'Club Classics' was my immediate favourite of the two Charli singles on first listen but 'B2b' wormed its way into my affections more very quickly, both banging. I thought 'Too Sweet' was good on first listen but it soon evolved into great, it's been lodged in my brain so much. It really is mad that he's outdone the peak of the brilliant 'Take Me To Church' hope you enjoy the English Teacher album, I loved 'The World's Biggest Paving Slab' thanks to 6Music and then 'R&B' was great in BJSC. thank you for commenting <3 Too Sweet it's a food track, bur I don't understans how people can relate to it so much foe it to have 900k listens! It's about him dribkin whiskey ans foin to bed at 3 and living hsrd, whilst his girlfriend is cleanlivinf. omg... THIS. Hey Jade! Glad to see the debuts for 'Illusion', 'Too Sweet' & 'Espresso'. Good chart! Hey Piran! Glad you're into all three of those too thank you for commenting <3 |

Hey jade!
I cannot fault that run for we can't be friends at all now. I wish there was something else on the album of that calibre but it's honestly overshadows everything else for me. Great entry point for illusion. I do think it's my favourite of the three singles but honestly that could be because its such a fresh song. I'm expecting the album to be more of the same and in that sense it'll be more evolution than revolution. I'll think of it as a sister album to future nostalgia. Yay for too sweet entering. I did not expect to like this as much as I did. Im so happy for him getting a #1 after a decade releasing music. Away no! That's a shame that artemas is due to drop off your chart already. It's so easy on the ears. Fantastic chart Jade, I hope you've had a great weekend! |

I thought you would approve of its run so far *.* I love the album but do agree that it's the best track on it! Indeed, 3/3 top 10s for this era so far <3 oh wow, high praise! I'm still obsessed with 'Training Season' as you can see intrigued to see if anything else on the album will scale those heights for me. oh yes just noticed Hozier in your chart as well <3 it's really crept up on me! Same, 'Take Me To Church' is one of my favourite hits of the 2010s and it was a shame it didn't get to #1, but yay for him unexpectedly getting a chart-topper in the end, even if it's not quite as earth-shatteringly good. Artemas has a really standout chart hit but yeah I guess it was just super instant really! thank you for commenting <3 the weekend was a bit clouded by illness but was a chill one at least, hope you had a good one x English Teacher I'd better check out this one! would recommend the album! thank you for commenting <3 |
