girl you need to grow up and just be happy for her success that she's about to have her 'Bionic/Glory' chart run

NEIKED at #6 *.* Really hoping that and Starving get big boosts tomorrow on Spotify to help them both climb up, as we always see the biggest boost on the Monday Spotify chart.

Glory flopped for Britney standards so is this for Gaga's standards. Gaga is coming from an underperforming era (ARTPOP) and the UK is very promo-sensitive - she didn't do any major promo (cancelled The X Factor & Graham Norton). Also the sales climate is quite down, so these numbers are not surprising at all. This post has been edited by BigMixer: 24th October 2016, 07:15 PM |

To be honest, given the total disinterest in the lead single, Gaga is doing way better than I would have expected. I thought about 17K for the whole week tbh.

I do not want another Elvis Presley number 1, i do believe Michael Buble can overtake as the week progresses. Good start for Melanie C and witH Lady Gaga i dont yet know if i think she is doing well or under-performing.
Thrilled to see the wonderful Little Mix on course for a second week at number 1. |

Taking into consideration and points that bigmixer explained, I think she is doing well for an opener week...what she needs is longetivity which I am affraid it won't have strong legs without a proper hit!!

Sexual is a really interesting hit, it feels like classic Scandipop blog pop to me so it's interesting to see it taking off so much here. It hasn't really even smashed back in its native Sweden (low top 40 I think).
Makes me think that record companies should be picking up more of this blog pop with big choruses that never really ever makes it off the blogs. |

Whilst I agree with you it will just seem wrong if Robbie Williams ends up with more UK number 1 Albums than Elvis. Buble advert during "Cold Feet" tonight, suspect the gap could be reduced today. |

Im not an Elvis fan at all so i dont want to see him number 1 again either, while i wouldnt buy Bubles album i would prefer him to go number 1. So many new entries in the album chart this week. Poor Tom Chaplin, looks like a huge fall and likewise with Rebecca Ferguson, Katie Melua is holding up better than i thought she would.

I'd rather Elvis got no.1 than Buble tbh. Something about Buble makes my skin crawl.

Joanne has already sold Glory's total sales though. (And I love Glory BTW) But that's not surprising right. Gaga didn't do any promo, but she has radio support which is more important than anything. Britney was doing promo tour on UK stations few weeks ago, for what? Nothing. Waste of time. Esp for Radio 1. |

Perfect Illusion was also played a lot on Heart and Capital when it was first out. Especially Heart.
