I don't think it's particularly radio unfriendly? It's very catchy! He's playing the Summertime Ball too so his label must be working hard.

A different single of his has actually got a lot of plays on the R1 evening shows! (Not that that makes it really indie in 2024!)

That'd be his only other solo track Cry at the Moon, which is indeed not very poppy, I think that would've been a surprising add for Capital. Picasso is easily the more commercial of the two!
