WOOOOO. Welcome to the Final Voting for BJSCXVI. Bumpy ride so far, I know. Didn't really plan for all of the stuff that happened, but I'm glad I got results up and I checked over my math and everything looks good. Thanks again for all of your patience. I ask for just a LITTLE bit more as I decide when to post results. ;( I dunno if you guys have a little thing called prom in the YOU-KAY, but my senior prom is next Saturday, and then I'm going to an after party. Some places in the UK have a prom.
Sorry for the added complications with this contest, when ever you can do the results is fine. Try not to worry too much about UK time, but obviously, silly hours of the morning won't have much of an audience [i'm sure everyone else isn't as sad as i am to get up at 5am] but after about 8amUK time to about 10pm you'll get an audience. We could even push it to Monday if that is more convenient, after all you only get one prom |

Oh I'm sure it'll be a fairly reasonable time on Sunday. ;o I just dunno yet what the plans are. I'm aiming for 7/8/9 PM UK time Sunday. If necessary I might have to divide the results up over two nights, not to build hype but just out of time constraints. ;S I'll keep you all posted. Or if it just ends up being a bit later on Sunday I'll do speedy quick resultz.
Can't do it during the week sadly. ;( Internships. Fun. |

Do the results anytime you are able to. You can do it even in the time of Eurovision. But i doubt i will make it here then

even with a load of favourites out, this is a seriously high quality final still...now Snalla Snalla, Go Electro, Never Forget You and Stone Cold Sober are out there are four less songs to fight for the 12

Great lineup for the final, there are a lot of tracks in the semi final 1 I couldn vote for, at a glance there are 12 good songs in the final lineup.

Um, the Nadine video link doesn't work
Oh, and btw i think results on Saturday may be better ;o as a - not as rushed and not forced over 2 nights not THAT many people are going to be too bothered with ESC ;o Imagine there was a match on. But your team only played once a year. And your scores had been horrendous lately, you were constantly being beaten, and it was the first time on the field for a plucky young signing everyone had pinned their hopes on to turn the whole thing around. You wouldn't want to watch that? |

I'm sorry, but there's no way in hell that having the final results on at the same time as Eurovision will be a good idea. It was already a bit of a compromise having the final weeks coincide, and Ben's said he can do Sunday so frankly any attempts to get the two to coincide are just self-harm...NEITHER contest would benefit from having coinciding finals, and all it would do is p*** many people (including me seeing as I'd have to monitor the both of them while trying to enjoy both) off.
And James, that is probably the most misguided statement I've ever heard. The Eurovision final thread gets f***loads of attention...moreso than pretty much every BJSC final we've had! |
