Hello from South Danaelanda! Our country split from civil war so it's just the South that participate now. Ohh , I did not know that war could happen in this contest (good to know though) Hoping you do better here than in the spin-offs! It's pretty much a pattern Greetings from Cor Lupus! Hehe, Yeah I hope I can at least manage to get out of the bottom 3 Omfg I thought Lottie had changed from ha ikonek Pupok!!! Welcome, welcome, from Beaverdoniaimpaktnation! welcome from the "ikonek" pupok! Thanks for the welcome both of you! I had to check out some of entries from Pupok, and I get why you are considered "Ikonek". Jennifer Rostock with "Schlaflos" and Vesala with "Tequila" are really, really good Don't forget, most people submit a novelty song for their first BJSC entry! Hmm... I am afraid I already have submitted a song for this contest. I might submit a novelity song later on though Welcome Lotunia from Jadakissnia you have already shown promise to be standout with your spinoff entries, so I look forward to your main contest debut! Pretty flag. Greetings from Aelandor! Your spin off entries have both been really sweet (I was so close to pointing your 80s entry as well) so I'm really looking forward to your main contest entry, also you appear to have great taste when it comes to voting too- thanks for all the points in the spin offs! Thanks for the welcome both of you! at the Lotunian flag getting recognition, took me so long time to edit in. I am a bit unsure if I am going to stand out this time genre wise, my entry is however partly in sámi, so maybe that will help me stand out a bit (was originally going to send RAYE with "Shhh", but it had apparently already won once ) Yeah, Berlin (with Belinda Carlisle and Pimpinela) really stood out to me in the 80s edition |

Japan vs. South Korea: Yasuharu Takanashi - Despair About Yasuharu Takanashi and "Despair" Born April 13, 1963 (age 54) Yasuharu Takanashi is a Japanese composer for both video games and anime series. He has composed for Hell Girl, Sailor Moon Crystal and of course, Naruto Shippuden, which "Despair" is taken from. "Despair" is also known in the fandom as Sasori's theme song. Personally, I think it fits. Sasori had one of the saddest backgrounds in Naruto Shippuden, at least when it comes to the antagonists of the series (somehow they managed to give some of the protagonists even sadder backgrounds). It is crazy how much loneliness, despair, and absence of love changed his character physically and mentally, which I think the song manages to express in heartbreaking way. Even though it might be a bit on the short side, it still is a little piece of art. Result: 25/26 (16 points) Received points from: Terra Avium: 10 points Séyetana: 3 points Aelandor: 2 points Jadakissnia: 1 points This post has been edited by NocheLuna: 16th October 2018, 07:49 PM |

I think it's criminal how this hasn't received any hype yet, that instrumental took me off guard and is reminding me of Merely really strongly, an excellent debut entry!

It's good to know that someone likes it Fully expecting to not qualify for the final, but that is fine. I really enjoyed taking part in the contest so that totally makes up for whatever is going to happen in the results thread |

Congrats on a top 20 debut NocheLuna! I didn't quite see the success of this entry coming but I'm of course very pleased for you, as it was a gorgeous song that grew on me further in the final! Looking forward to your next entry.
Also, hooray for the mutual love, the 13 points from you were appreciated. <3 |

(which seemed to be the case for some other people) "Waves" was excellent, very happy for that discovery. Looking forward to your next entry |

BJSC 97: Gery-Nikol - I'm The Queen
Don't you know, I'm the queen, да, да, да, да! So, I guess this song might be seen as a bit of a trainwreck Well, Gery-Nikol (currently 18 years old) rose to fame in 2014 when she as part of the group Sweet 16 participated in the Bulgarian version of X Factor. After her time on X Factor she quickly began pursuing a solo career. She has five singles under her belt, with one of them peaking at #1 on the Bulgarian chart. "I'm The Queen" is her third single and is one of two songs that also has an English version. |
