I wouldn't necessarily call it a twist as it's much more of an ambiguous ending but I really liked what I felt the end of 'Anatomy of a Fall' was implying.

My reading of it was that, ironically, the lady that was supposed to stop the kid from being influenced who ended up convincing him to lie on his mother's behalf when she said (to paraphrase) 'if you don't know the truth, just decide what you want to believe and commit to that'. He ended up making up a story to tell the court which got her acquitted. But, deep down, he is still unsure whether his mum is innocent and is scared of her coming home because he no longer trusts her.
