I've watched this clip various times in a row It's the accent and "you fat ox" at the end that destroys me |

I don’t really know what words to say. you had an amazing presence and your laughter was infectious to be around. I will always remember the good times we shared together- you always said to me one of your favourite moments was of us pinching the champagne in BB well my darling I promise to live every day to the fullest never take anything for granted and forever be grateful you were in my life and we had such a good time. I hope you are no longer in pain and you will always be remembered and so greatly missed . Goodnight gorgeous xxxxxxx |

The tributes are so lovely but Aisleynes was the one hardest to read, you could tell they had such a special friendship and Aisleyne really looked out for her when she went in the C5 series .

This is so sad truly one of the most iconic big brother contestants. So desperately sad her eating disorder won out in the end.

Pete posted a video on Instagram and I found it difficult to keep watching.
I was obsessed with Season 7 of Big Brother and in fact I've re-watched it multiple times. It was lightning in a bottle as far as reality TV goes. There will never be anything like it. It was the peak of the show and changed the format and behaviour of contestants completely (mostly because people kept copying Nikki's tantrums in the Diary Room). Whenever I watch it back I just think how perfect it was. A bunch of strangers thrown together to live for 13 weeks in a tiny house with cameras on them 24/7 and yet so many friendships and so much genuine affection exists between them even after 14 years. It's beautiful. Nikki was of course the star of the show. She was completely genuine in her first stint and was incredibly brave to show so much emotion and have those tantrums on TV when everyone else was so worried about how they'd be portrayed, she didn't give a f***. She admitted she was over the top and dramatic but I remember her genuinely caring about contestants like Sam and Susie even though the former was extremely awkward and intrusive and the latter put her up for eviction. She wasn't perfect but she is THE reality TV star. There will never be another reality TV series like Big Brother 2006 and nobody will have the same impact on the public like Nikki Grahame did. (On a personal note this has really hit me. It's weird when someone from your childhood that you grow up watching passes away, especially as I re-watch the show so many times you always think the Housemates are immortal and will live forever and then you remember it's been 14 years and they're human just like us) |

One of my favourite Nikki moments in standing up to Helen Wood after being a vicious bully all series "If I'm on the Z list that makes you unclassified" lives in my mind rent free. |

I hope there is some form of tribute show for Nikki as to her credit she went far far beyond 15 mins of fame which many reality contestants suffer from. She provided huge entertainment in all her big brother stints and E4, channel 4 and channel 5 all gained from her popularity. When I think of big brother nikki is the first thing that comes to mind, Nikki and Jade were my 2 fave housemates and sadly both are now no longer with us. I often thought could you imagine if Jade and Nicki had been in the same series.

There's an episode of Friday Night Project with both Nikki and Jade on it on YouTube. I don't know if I can bring myself to watch it though .

It's very telling of her legacy that C4, C5 and even Canada housemates have such fond memories of their time with her, she was such a commanding and unique presence that I'm sure anyone who even vaguely crossed her path has such amazing stories to tell. Every stint she had on any show is just full to the brim with iconic moments.
As I said in the RIP thread in the lounge, she is the absolute archetype of reality TV for me and everything a great TV personality should be, really hasn't sunk in she's gone. |

This is such sad, tragic, shocking news. She was such a character and is quite rightly a 00s TV icon. R.I.P.

How sad, what a loss. I loved her on BB and was in the audience once on BBBOTS when she was on the panel and I spoke to her Mum
This is such a shame, eating disorders are so poorly understood and effect so many people |

Eating disorders have been misunderstood for so long and I hope Nikkis passing can help change the stigma around it.

I really think a 1 hour tribute for her on Channel 4 or something would be a huge ratings hit and do much for awareness towards anorexia?
