It is understandable to be annoyed at this but it's definitely not worth quitting the entire contest over
 The hosts are only human, as I've pointed out before when the vote adding is left to one person and no one else can even see the votes to double check them, you'd expect these sorts of errors to happen from time to time (even I've done this when hosting). 95% of the time such errors make no actual difference, it's just unfortunate that they have done a few times recently and especially this time where it wasn't noticed before the final.I will count 'Pretty Little Gangster' as a qualifier as far as Kylienips' Q streak goes ~ Although if they do quit that'll be the end of their streak anyway. Eek. (Please don't quit over this Mikey :s) |

I guess I over reacted a bit, it just felt like a kick in the teeth at first, rant over, I accept James's apology human error, things happen, shit happens, but they should be checked before the final goes up though, I guess I should be grateful for Meg Myers winning with Sorry, sorry guys. Just like Iz said, I get over it.

Can we have 2 people counting up the semi results from now on? Something has to be done now that we get a wrong qualifier just about every contest. Human error will always be likely to happen..

Sorry mart!nmissed out on the final, it was the obvious song that should have been in and a surprise to me it didnt qualify. Number crunching is always subject to input error (i spend weeks of my life doing it tediously at work and its so easy to hit a wrong number, miss a line or total upwrong, which is why my figures are always checked afterwards) so a back up is a good idea generally.
That said, hey, as ive said before, i lost out on my first contest to a tiebreak gone wrong and didnt worry unduly as i got a record-breaking dnq debut streak ouf of it anyway hope all settles down and everyone is cool

Trifoski were the biggest beneficiaries of the 18 point system (slightly surprisingly!), finishing 9 places higher, while Federal Republic of Ashton lost out the most, coming 8 places lower. Perhaps the most interesting result here is that despite being miles behind in the 18 point system, Syndare aren't even last here - the 12 point wooden spoon somehow goes to Unovia. Also odd that Altyr Muunilinst came 6 places higher with the 18 point system as you'd expect OMFG to be pretty niche. Exception proves the rule
