Not really loving that much but it's fine, has some cool funky bits. Doesn't sound necessarily like a hit either but would be something if Lenny did make a top 40 return from this!

The term "deep cut" is usually what refers to an album track, maybe that's what you're thinking of?
Anyway this sounds unexpectedly great on first listen, Lenny is so under-rated! I like that Peggy hasn't just come back with a rehash of 'Nanana' too. |

Agreed, i'm glad she hasn't just copied the Nanana formula because it worked but has done something different, even if it's not as instant for me.
Would be nice for them both to get another top 40 with this. |
