There will no Friday chart show 24th may and no chart update Sunday 26th due radio 1 big weekend in Luton add proof below

I get pulling the Sunday update but it seems a bit odd to remove the Friday chart show as well given it's one of the core parts of the schedule, I swear in the past it's still went out.

How accurate are the schedules when they put them up this far in advance?
Maybe they'll still do the chart show, but present it live from Luton? |

I'm sure in previous years they've just announced the chart live and maybe played the no.1 but not had a proper show.

I do recall previous years they’ve hosted it live from the event and announced #1 at the event to the audience too iirc

This is standard placeholder scheduling. Because there's a 4-5:45pm show it'll be updated eventually that it'll be the chart just live from Big Weekend which is what's happened in previous years.

I’m not sure there will be a chart - they are doing a proper Friday event for the first time ever this year so there are performances starting earlier in the day and wouldn’t be surprised if this then affects the chart.
