Because I happened to mention off site to Wardy about Olly Murs appearing on Deal or No Deal in 2006, few years before he was on X Factor.
Can you think of anymore examples? |

As I said in the other thread Aston appeared on Stars in their Eyes as a child.
Olly Murs is a good example! I’m struggling to think of any more off the top of my head.  Oh Amanda Holden was on Blind Date iirc. |

I found this interesting site about famous people (some outside the realm of 00s) who appeared on game shows pre-fame. Webpage Link. To be fair the biggest wtf on that page is the Mr Gay UK bit: QUOTE Anthony Morley was a contestant on God's Gift in 1996. He was convicted of murder in 2008. By coincidence, his victim, Damian Oldfield, was in the audience for Morley's show, having previously been a contestant himself.

Something I would be interested to know is if there is any genuine footage of buskers before they became famous? Does anyone know any examples (from any time period)?

1. Kesha - she was in Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl music video a year before she broke out (can be spotted around 0:57): 2. Katy Perry - she was an extra in her then-bf's music video for his song 'Cupid's Chokehold', released a year before she broke out: 3. Not actually sure of his name but he appeared in EE as Calum(?) a couple years after he appeared in Lily's 'Smile' video: 4. Don Gilet, who played serial killer Lucas in EastEnders, played Gabrielle's love interest in her 'Out of Reach' video 7 years before his EE stint: 5. Kim Kardashian was in Fall Out Boy's TFTM video a short time before she broke out with KUWTK. |
