Missing out on top 5 we have The Saturdays with their their single from the debut album Chasing Lights, 'Issues' which peaked at 4 in Jan 2009. The song had to re-recorded due to being misinterpretedas being 'stab' instead of 'slap' which was the original word used. The video still features the original line but the radio version was changed to 'can't decide if I should leave you or kiss you'. The girls filmed the video before 'Up' as they had wanted it to be the second single instead of third but the label thought otherwise.

Yay this is the Top 5 I identified from the start!
Voting for The Verve now - I do really like the song but it doesn’t touch their 90s stuff and I think the others here stand out more. |

I went to Reverend as it was on more votes than Steps. 'Love Is Noise' was a pretty strong return for me. Also topped my chart.
