The current folk boom in the chart has allowed the Wellerman himself Nathan Evans to get another Top 100 hit today! 'Heather On The Hill' debuted at #87 following TikTok interest.
It's surprisingly good too. |

I see there was no expense spared on the video for the song. I’m really liking this at the moment though. His recent singles have been quite good as well especially ‘Driving To Nowhere’.

Well this is definitely not one I expected to escape one hit wonder status *_* good for him though x
Is this one an original song? I don't see any mention of it being another old standard from a quick Google (and Nathan has a writing credit on it, although I checked back and he has one on 'Wellerman' too so that doesn't necessarily mean much x) |

A remix from Scottish indie pop band SAINT PHNX (who co-wrote the song) released the other day:
It's had quite an unlucky chart run! 42-44-42 in the last 3 weeks, hopefully it can still make the Top 40. |
