Hey Rich! Here are the songs I know and enjoy from your top 100:
1. Cornelia Jakobs - Hold Me Closer a breathtaking Melfest song and I'm so glad it made it to the Eurovision stage, it was my favourite song pre-contest but Sam overtook with the hype + performance, it's a close thing between the two so brilliant to see them as your top 2. 2. Sam Ryder - SPACE MAN the success story here is just remarkable, who'd have thought it this time last year! 11. Griff & Sigrid - Head on Fire shame Griff's momentum seems to have ground to a halt after this, label getting scared by a bit of an underperformance? 17. Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz - We Don't Talk About Bruno 18. P!nk - Never Gonna Not Dance Again 20. LF SYSTEM - Afraid To Feel 24. George Ezra - Anyone For You (Tiger Lily) 30. Klara Hammarström - Run To The Hills My personal favourite Melfest song of 2022! Ridiculously excited for it to start up again next month 31. Cazzi Opeia - I Can't Get Enough 34. Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero 35. Cat Burns - go It really was all about the radio mix for me and I'm sad she blocked its official release, the main version does it for me much less. 41. Sam Ryder - All The Way Over 55. Ava Max - Maybe You’re The Problem 58. Benjamin Ingrosso - Queens 61. Jessica Darrow - Surface Pressure 72. Rina Sawayama - Catch Me In The Air 73. Delta Goodrem - The Power Not sure I'll ever get over the thrill of her London show!!! 76. Måneskin - SUPERMODEL 80. Steps - After The Love Has Gone (Steps 25 Revisited Version) 82. Nicola Roberts - Head 85. Rihanna - Lift Me Up 91. Lost Frequencies & Calum Scott - Where Are You Now Fabulous stuff, loving Steps at #1 in your albums too! I don't count hits compilations for my albums list but I spent a lot of time with Platinum Collection this year, so good to have an updated hits album of theirs. |

Yes, Cornelia and Sam are very close in my affections too, was quite hard to decide between them. Agreed about Griff, such a shame it did nothing as it's such a fab song. Completely agree about Delta's show, I really hope the European tour is rescheduled soon, it was so amazing seeing a full show from her, FINALLY. |

Hey there Rich these are my favourites from your top 100 list:
2. Sam Ryder - SPACE MAN 4. Naked Flames - 247 365 11. Griff & Sigrid - Head on Fire 13. Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal - B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All) 16. southstar - Miss You 17. Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero and Stephanie Beatriz - We Don't Talk About Bruno 20. LF SYSTEM - Afraid To Feel 21. Editors - Vibe 24. George Ezra - Anyone For You (Tiger Lily) 25. Giant Swan - 55 Year Old Daughter 34. Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero 37. Paola & Chiara - Vamos a bailar (Esta vida nueva) 53. Nora Van Elken - Dire, Dire Docks 54. Dzivia - Voryva 61. Jessica Darrow - Surface Pressure 72. Rina Sawayama - Catch Me In The Air 74. Aamourocean - Parmi Les Mortels 76. Måneskin - SUPERMODEL 96. yunè pinku - DC Rot Oh wow, amazing to see one of my BJSC entries here I still can't believe that Paola & Chiara took part in Sanremo festival shortly after I sent them, when they'd been inactive for years I think that is still my last top 10 in BJSC so here's hoping your prediction of my latest entry doing well comes through 'Voryva' was such a BJSC highlight from yourself last year, both musically and visually and 'Parmi Les Mortels' was one of my favourite winners! From this list I've heard two of those songs live! Griff was Dua's support act so I've experienced 'Head On Fire' at a concert, she was really good. The other one is of course 'SUPERMODEL'! Understandably Måneskin's set-list was quite heavy on their new album but I was still happy with the amount of Italian songs included as well. Love the Encanto impact here *.* I was on board with the songs straight away (they felt so different alongside everything else in the chart) but enjoyed them even more after watching the film. Finally... Sam Ryder truly king of the #2 position, another one for his tally here |
