Welcome to the ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.
If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. So Seventeen Going Under (ew) and Oh My God avoiding ACR thanks to the Brits.

The curse of the #18 position continues - more on that here - Enemy is now at least the third song to appear to have spent an unprecedented 3+ weeks peaking there, only to move to a higher peak. It could hardly have been closer, since it overturned a huge deficit in First Look to the week's eventual #18 by just 164 sales and now goes straight to ACR, plus it must have had a tiny streaming increase when it fell 18-20 three weeks ago to prevent it going to ACR a week earlier thereby retaining its 3-week #18 peak status.

Dermot Kennedy (or his record label) have been really good at avoiding ACR with the timed releases of new remixes and of course taking advantage of the slightly illogical post-Christmas resets. Better Days really has had amazing longevity lasting more than half a year in the top 100 and 19 weeks in the top 40, more than his other hits.
