Depends what you mean by punching above their weight biggrin.gif They're owned by the City Football Club so it's not quite the plucky underdog story.

^They've been playing amazing games this year, they're still in a solid 2nd place
but Real Madrid at home are too difficult to beat, there was nothing to do...

Girona were threatening to be the Leverkusen of La Liga this season, a huge rank outsider winning the league but it's looking a tall order now. A top 4 finish would still be brilliant for them.

Bayern lost again today, leaving Leverkusen eight points clear. We might finally see someone different win the Bundesliga.

Paris St-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has agreed to join Real Madrid this summer.

The France captain, 25, has told PSG he intends to leave the club with his contract expiring in June.

Mbappe has not signed a contract with Real yet, but the deal could be announced once it is no longer possible for the clubs to meet in this season's Champions League.

The World Cup winner is PSG's record goalscorer with 244 goals.

Marseille have sacked Gennaro Gattuso as their manager and replaced him with Jean-Louis Gasset.

Gattuso took over at the French club in late September and leaves with the club ninth in Ligue 1.

The Italian claimed just nine wins from his 24 matches as manager, losing six times during his spell in charge.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been banned from football for four years for a doping offence.

The former Manchester United player was provisionally suspended in September after a drugs test found elevated levels of testosterone in his system.
