ALBUMS CHART - 2007

I will quickly count down my 20 favourite albums of 2007 - with the best album and singles from each album biggrin.gif

20. Thirteen Senses - Contact

Best Single: All The Love In Your Hands
Best Album Track: Contact

All The Love In Your Hands:

I saw Thirteen Senses live in March - they were excellent! I even met the lead singer after - and hes a nice bloke. This, their second album was of course a flop and not as good as the brilliant The Invitation, but still, they are a local(ish) band I will see them live whenever I get a chance.

19. Manic Street Preachers - Send Away The Tigers

Best Single: Your Love Alone Is Not Enough
Best Album Track: Underdogs

Indian Summer:

Not bad album from the Manics - the singles were certainly a return to form - YLAINE, Indian Summer and Autumnsong are all excellent.

18. Girls Aloud - Tangled Up

Best Single: Call The Shots
Best Album Track: Can't Speak French

Call The Shots:

I own all of GA's albums laugh.gif On a few listens, this is better than Chemistry. Sexy? No No No! is a good comeback, but Call The Shots pisses all over everything they have done with the exception of Biology (and No Good Advice!).

17 . Sugababes - Change

Best Single: Change
Best Album Track: My Love Is Pink

Change:

Change is a great Pop album - About You Now is just superb and CHange is a beautiful song. Britain's permiere girl group, imo.

Best Single: You're Not Alone
Best Album Track: Technodanceaphobic

We'll Live And Die In These Towns:

The title track, You're Not Alone and had Enough are all superb - although they do a mean impression of The Jam laugh.gif

13. The Twang - Love It When I Feel Like This

Best Single: Either Way
Best Album Track: Reap What You Sow

Either Way:

The Twang are so 90s! Wide Awake and Either Way could be right out of a Madchester album. New single Push The Ghosts sampled Salt n Pepa laugh.gif
