Next to be eliminated with over 38% of the vote and finishing in 4th place is 'Solo'. The song was released back in May of 2018 and features vocals from American singer Demi Lovato. It reached #01 in eight countries (the UK included) and is one of their highest charting songs in the US - peaking at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's widely regarded as one of their best songs and it's really not hard to understand why. An absolute gem!
04. Solo (with Demi Lovato) [Round 12: 18 votes / 38.30%] 05. Tears (with Louisa Johnson) [Round 11: 18 votes / 36.00%] 06. Real Love (with Jess Glynne) [Round 10: 17 votes / 48.57%] 07. I Miss You (with Julia Michaels) [Round 9: 22 votes / 44.00%] 08. Stronger [Round 8: 22 votes / 56.41%] 09. Mozart's House (with Love Ssega) [Round 7: 17 votes / 34.00%] 10. Baby (with Marina and Luis Fonsi) [Round 6: 16 votes / 33.33%] 11. Dust Clears (with Noonie Bao) [Round 5: 15 votes / 35.71%] 12. Extraordinary (with Sharna Bass) [Round 4: 16 votes / 37.21%] 13. Come Over (with Stylo G) [Round 3: 11 votes / 23.91%] 14. Intentions (with Gorgon City) [Round 2: 18 votes / 17.31%] 15. Mama (with Ellie Goulding) [Round 2: 23 votes / 22.12%] 16. A+E (with Kandaka Moore and Nikki Cislyn) [Round 1: 20 votes / 18.18%] 17. Lost (with End of the World) [Round 1: 22 votes / 20.00%] Please vote for your least fave. The song with the most votes will be eliminated. |

Quack!
Definitely Rather Be is the clear weak link in that top 3. |

Also, this must/will be the only Buzzjack contest in history where Jess Glynne & Anne-Marie both make the top 3!

Also, this must/will be the only Buzzjack contest in history where Jess Glynne & Anne-Marie both make the top 3! All we need now is for them to do a Jessie J collab and we'll have the complete trifecta! Congrats on us choosing the best possible top 3 anyhow! It has to be 'Rockabye' to go next though. |

Really tough but Symphony. Rockabye is just transcendentally awesome and Rather Be is just too perfect a construction, so as good as Symphony's instrumental flourishes are, it's slightly worse than the other two.
yes it does constantly weird me out that Anne-Marie and Jess Glynne are in my Clean Bandit faves too |

What Anne-Marie went on to become has kind of damaged my perception of 'Rockabye' retrospectively honestly. Still a pretty good song but it's not really one I'd ever really desperately want to listen to. (And actually iirc I initially didn't care for it much when I first heard it anyway so it's almost just me going full circle on it).
Voted for 'Symphony' obvz cos it's a dirge |
