I'm not sure if it's a literal one-man solo act or a new band, but it's called Yannis & The Yaw and the first single (feat. the late Tony Allen) is out next week. Yannis has confirmed that Yannis & The Yaw is a project that will return 'in the future for further collaborations with inspiring musicians from across the globe'.
