Welcome to the voting stage of the 1970s Rock song contest. There are 15 songs from the decade to listen to. This is an anonymous contest so please continue to keep the name of your song to yourself.

When you are ready to vote, please send a PM to myself using the Eurovision points format of 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You cannot vote for your own song.

Non-participants are welcome to have a listen to the songs and send me a vote as well.

The voting deadline is Sunday 24th September at 23.59

Well there are at least 2 songs here that have already been played at the weekend SyncTube sessions ('Cosmic Dancer' was at the #1 albums sessions and 'Marquee Moon' iirc was played as an RIP slot) - I don't think I've heard any of the others though, looking forward to hearing the rest.

Will be interesting to see whether I enjoy these or not(!) - 15 is a nice enough number though. I already know 3 (and probably wish I'd thought of the two that aren't my own entry haha)

Despite there only being 14 songs to vote for I really struggled to order this! My 12 was clear of everything else but I made numerous switches. One song I ranked second last after first listen eventually made its way up to my 5 points.

voted! an easy 12 pointer to a long-time fave, and I tended to rate the shorter punchier songs - it's the punk in me....sadly no punk at all in the contest though! laugh.gif
