As a big fan of tennis and all of the leading cast, coupled with it being from the same director as 'Call Me By Your Name', my excitement for this was HUGE and it did not disappoint.

I hope that it's not forgotten by the time we get to awards season next year because Zendaya really deserves some recognition. The score and cinematography were both excellent as well, I can't say that they're things I pay a load of attention to when at the cinema but the score was really grabbing me here.

Not quite a perfect 10 but close to it. I had to dock a point for how Josh O'Connor pronounced Adidas x

So I am a big Josh O'Connor fan and love Zendaya.

I thought all 3 were great in their respective roles. I also thought the tennis sequences were great (although a little disorientating at times). Definitely beautifully shot.

Do I think it was an amazing film? No. I liked the complexity of the relationships but just felt something was missing. I'd even go as far as to say I found it plodded along in parts. I wouldn't race to watch it again.

Yes, I think it was too early to be released if they're expecting Oscar nominations.
It is 9/10 for me. cheer.gif
Also loved the songs played in this film.
