• Aaaaaand the chart year ends with a top 4 that is pretty far away from everyone else. Thank U, Next is still in a distant lead and grabs #1 for a second week. The only change to the top 5 is Waste It On Me sneaking in at #4. I don’t see myself getting bored with any of the four anytime soon.
• K/DA manages a top 10 position to begin the holiday freeze
• three new entries into the top 20: Ellie continues to climb up the chart and could be a huge hit in the near future, Jonas Blue and Just Kiddin join her. This is Jonas Blue’s third top 20 overall
• Charli & Troye continue a nice gain
• the greatest gainer is surprisingly Alessia Cara, up 7 spots with Trust My Lonely
• more Xmas songs debut, Lindsey Stirling has had two of those chart overall
• the last debut goes to Why Don’t We, their fourth charter in the year and overall. R3HAB gets his fourth in a year as well, three being remixes
• There are now two songs on the chart that have passed 30 weeks

What does the 2019 chart year hold in store for us? Can Twenty One Pilots score another #1? Will we have Miley score another #1? Things should get interesting as we kick off the last year of the decade next week!
