Hype is starting to build for a new record from the Weeknd thanks to many sources this week. In a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter he stated that "I've been inspired, i've been in the studio". He also posted an instagram post where he can be seen in the studio with interesting synths blaring behind him. And finally he posted some Lyrics and some photos of a dead Weeknd (I assume) on his twitter in the past day.

He seems to be releasing an album every year. He only just released one last year. I was hoping to see more singles from Dawn FM

Well not exactly an album every year: 2013, 2015, 2016, 2020 (4 year gap), 2022 & potentially 2023 but it is more probable that this record will be released in 2024. I mean 4 singles were released from Dawn FM, with two other songs getting videos. I agree though, Dawn FM was a fantastic record and deserved more.

It was released as the 4th single of Dawn FM last July, however The Weeknd did say that the HBO concert would be the last piece of Dawn FM, so it is very unlikely we will ever see it being pushed further.

This looks to be the last record released by Abel under the name of 'The Weeknd' sad.gif As he still wants to kill him.... He revealed this in a new interview.

A new song titled 'Another One Of Me' was previewed on the tour last night! I hope he leaves some time before he releases something new tbh.

He’s such a hardworking force isn’t he!

I’ve said this so many times on here but as far as current male artists go just who else serves the way he does. He’s such a pop girlie in the sense that he has such a creative eye and puts on a spectacle and consistently reinvents too yet there’s still an air of mystery regarding them too.

Always here for new material too but I do hope it’s a while off yet! I think once the tour concludes we may get what will be his final The Weeknd album before we get releases as Abel.

(Off topic too but the tour was one of the best things I’ve ever seen in my life. If you ever get the chance to go and see him GO. He’s completely and utterly mesmerising in a live setting).
