No real losses so far besides 'Cradle' which I've always found cute. I'm hoping the Feels So Good era comes out on top - besides TTIH which I've always found overrated. 'Be With You' and 'It's OK' to smash.

13 6.73 Love Doesn't Have to Hurt
Thank you baby: 10 - JosephStyles I wouldn't wanna be ya: 0 - Cameron The first Feels So Good single to drop was the final release from that album. Love Doesn't Have to Hurt completed their biggest era for singles success, charting at #4 - amazingly, the lowest peaking single of the era! I've always found the track very underrated, and I gave it its only score of 10. Meanwhile, Cameron gave it the only 0 given out in the entire rate...! |

LDHTH is cute but it's probably their most MOR pandering to early 00's radio effort. Imo. Cute but lazy.

I LOVE 'Love Doesn't Have To Hurt.' One of the only Atomic Kitten songs I go back to.

Boo for someone giving that 0 points Absolutely ADORE that song, Feels So Good has such an amazing singles run (although I have to admit that their biggest hit during that era is my personal least favourite out of the singles).

If you couple post sales info I would be very interested in that !!
Rate is going how I would have thought so far. Quite convenient that WA was the last single as the probably would have been known as 1 hit wonders if released first. This post has been edited by vibe: 14th July 2020, 02:59 PM |

12 6.82 Right Now 2004
Thank you baby: 10 - vibe, Simon, Tombo, Sarah I wouldn't wanna be ya: 3 - Nina West, Hide&Seek For the group's (intended) final single, serving both as the final Ladies Night release and the lead single from The Greatest Hits, the girls looked back at their debut single Right Now with a re-recorded and remixed version. The track, simply titled Right Now 2004, was bundled with Someone Like Me, reaching #8 in the singles chart. Its music video featured a montage of clips from their time together as a group. The track has the same average score as our #11, but that received an 11 while this did not! |

Love Doesn't Have To Hurt - Feels very middle of the road pop, its fine, but not one of their stronger singles & feels like a very safe single option. There were much better songs on their 2nd album such as 'Love Won't Wait', 'Feels So Good' or 'Softer The Touch', something more upbeat to end the era, instead of going down an already well-trodden path.
Right Now '04 - Completely butchered the fun original with this boring cookie cutter remix. That's all I have to say on the matter. 'Someone Like Me' or 'You Are' has to drop next surely... |

11 6.82 Ladies Night
Thank you baby: 11 - schizo_spice I wouldn't wanna be ya: 2 - pippa Winning the tie thanks to an 11 from schizo_spice, Kool & the Gang cover Ladies Night just misses out on the top 10. Kool & the Gang approached Atomic Kitten to record an updated version of the song for The Hits: Reloaded, and it was subsequently included on their own third album and even made the title track. It peaked at #8 in the UK, their first single to miss the top 5 since Follow Me. |

Ladies Night has always been a bit of a 'meh' release for me. It surely is a fun cover, but nothing really special.

Shocking that Right Now 2004 made it that high, and I’m also pretty surprised that Someone Like Me is still in the running and Top 10...
Ladies Night is a fun cover but it’s never been essential Atomic Kitten for me. Its #8 peak and first week sales were a bit of a step down from what they’d become accustomed to, but that was still 2 places higher than another new entry that week: Sugababes - Too Lost In You! I’ll always be amazed that TLIY didn’t do far better... but it seems that Three being #9 in that week’s album chart must have taken away a lot of potential singles buyers. Comparatively Ladies Night the album was #16. Atomic Kitten also outperformed Blue in that week, who missed the Top 10 for the first time with their cover of Signed Sealed Delivered. 1- MAD WORLD- Michael Andrews Ft Gary Jules (227,547) 2- CHRISTMAS TIME (DON’T LET THE BELLS END)- Darkness (222,561) 3- CHANGES- Ozzy & Kelly Osbourne (144,000) 4- PROPER CRIMBO- Bo Selecta (97,000) 5- HAPPY XMAS (WAR IS OVER)- The Idols (73,000) 6- LEAVE RIGHT NOW- Will Young (66,000) 7- SHUT UP- Black Eyed Peas (54,000) 8- LADIES NIGHT- Atomic Kitten (28,343) 9- I’M YOUR MAN- Shane Richie (28,000) 10- TOO LOST IN YOU- Sugababes (27,000) |

A really busy one too. I even remember how Atomic Kitten were #11 in the first initial midweeks! |

I really like 'Ladies Night' but I admit that it's not essential Atomic Kitten at all, and quite forgotten now.

I never realised they were released in the same week, crazy how Ladies Night beat them, especially since TLIY has become one of the Sugababes signature songs and is remembered very well up till now (especially compared to Ladies Night). TLIY does sound like a good that helps shift album, like it did with Three going back into the top 10 during the Christmas rush, which at the end of the day was more important obviously. |

Ladies Night - Actually forgot that this was still in the running. Its just o.k. I guess, nothing special, a typical early 00's cover. I think they were starting to wear thin by this point as they were just repeating the same format of = "ballad/mid-tempo - cover", & funnily enough would split the following year. However thanks to X-Mas sales this managed to outsell the lead single which sold around 60k, & 'LN' sold about 84k, despite the lead having a much higher peak.

10 7.08 Someone Like Me
Thank you baby: 11 - Hide&Seek I wouldn't wanna be ya: 4 - Cameron, ElectroBoy, WinterFreeze Someone Like Me was released alongside Right Now 2004 as the girls' intended final single. The album version is performed almost entirely by Liz, though the single mix saw shared vocals. It peaked at #8, and in the rate, it received Hide&Seek's 11 score. |

'Someone Like Me' is pretty but also dull. I remember being super disappointed that this was going to be their last single.
