The way they've both been playing up to now, you would expect Sweden to take this one but honestly, I can't really call it.

I hope Sweden win this one, they did very well in the group stages, but I can see this going to extra time tbh as Switzerland with Shaqiri are a threat.

I can't see this being an entertaining game to be honest, it's like two mid table teams in the Premier League playing each other. You'd watch it if it's on free TV but you wouldn't go out of your way to watch it on a stream if it's not on free TV. I expect this match to be a draw after extra time and I would guess that Switzerland will win on penalties but it really could go either way.

Toughest one to call of all 8. Leaning towards Switzerland by a whisker.

Not a great first half. Both teams have had chances but their finishing has been poor, I'm sure both England and Colombia are licking their lips at the prospect of playing one of these.

How did these two teams manage to win any of their group matches if they can't get a shot on goal?

There can't have been many matches at this level with such woeful finishing.

Very unlucky for Switzerland to concede that deflected goal, but I am glad Sweden won as they played very well in the group stages, and were underdogs in this match in terms of team rankings.
There can't have been many matches at this level with such woeful finishing. Which is weird because both teams showed they could quite a few goals in the group stages. This post has been edited by The Snake: 3rd July 2018, 04:08 PM |
