Ariana Grande we can't be friends (wait for your love) 2nd single from eternal sunshine Released: 8th March 2024 Label: Republic Records Chart Statistics NE (21/03/2024) | 3-2 Sales: 40k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 09 Sales 05 Audio Streaming 01 Video Streaming Video Biography Armed with a mesmerizing, nimble soprano—and a vocal register often likened to Mariah Carey’s and Christina Aguilera’s—Ariana Grande began her career as a child star on Broadway and Nickelodeon before transforming into a pop and R&B powerhouse. Instantly recognizable thanks to her signature ponytail, cat ears, babydoll dresses, and breezy self-confidence, her slyly sexual personal brand has, like that of the Spice Girls before her, become an iconic image of young female power. But Grande is more than a symbol: Over the course of several albums and scores of hit singles—beginning with 2013’s “The Way” (featuring Mac Miler) through The Weeknd-assisted “Love Me Harder” and “Break Free” (featuring Zedd)—she has consistently outshined her male collaborators and deftly parlayed her stardom into activism. An LGBTQ advocate and outspoken feminist (“I’m tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man’s past, present, or future PROPERTY,” she tweeted in 2016), she uses her platform to confront issues like misogyny, sexism, homophobia, and bullying, spreading a message of love over all. Nowhere was this more clear than in May 2017: After terrorists attacked her concert in Manchester, England, killing 22 and injuring hundreds, Grande continued her tour. "Perspective changes your life,” she told Beats 1’s Ebro Darden. "You want to stay in the moment and try not to give into fear, because obviously the whole point of finishing the tour was being there for my fans. You want to set the same example and keep going.” And that she did: Her Max Martin-produced smash “No Tears Left to Cry,” an escapist dance-floor triumph released a year after the attack, sends a message of hope and healing, with a dose of hear-me-roar attitude. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2013 41 The Way (feat. Benson Boone Beautiful Things 1st single from Fireworks & Rollerblades Released: 19th January 2024 Label: Night Street Records / Warner Records Chart Statistics NE (01/02/2024) | 18-11-5-3-2-3-2-2-1 Sales: 300k+ Certification: Silver Status: Standard Chart Ratio 04 Sales 02 Audio Streaming 01 Video Streaming Video Biography A need to connect authentically drives every aspect of Benson Boone’s artistry. From his unflinchingly honest lyrics to hand-drawn artwork, there is no buffer between him and the listener. That’s particularly true of “GHOST TOWN,” the 19-year-old’s astonishing debut single. A poignant piano ballad about moving on, this is the calling card of a major new talent. Incredibly, “GHOST TOWN” was one of the first songs Boone ever wrote. But the Monroe, Washington native has a habit of being very good at things without realizing it. In fact, his musical talent only emerged by coincidence when he was asked to sing in a friend’s band. Now, he’s making up for lost time. So much so that Boone plays multiple instruments on “GHOST TOWN” including the drums, guitar and piano, which he picked up by ear. The multi-talented teenager even drew the striking cover art. That desire for a genuine, unfiltered connection with fans is why he stepped away from American Idol, despite wowing judges at auditions. Instead, Boone connected with Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds. “It was our first writing session together when I realized [Benson] is a once in a generation talent,” Reynolds says. While the newcomer is still at the very beginning of his music journey, he’s in it for the long haul. Boone’s goal is to make songs that stand the test of time. With “GHOST TOWN,” the singer/songwriter takes an auspicious first step towards achieving it. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2021 46 GHOST TOWN -1- 2022 21 In The Stars -2- 2024 01 Beautiful Things -1- 1 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 2 x Top 40 | 3 x Top 100 Social Media Benson Boone |

too bad the top 2 is not the other way around
that shouting thing shouldn't be anywhere near the top :/ but as usual, the better song misses I blame HH and her lack of support, if Ariana hadn't been track #15 on HH sure things would have been different |

I'd love Ariana to get #1 with this, but 'Beautiful Things' has kinda grown on me so I don't mind it being there.

Future chart hit?
Olivia Rodrigo obsessed 4th single from GUTS (spilled) Released: 21st March 2024 Label: Olivia Rodrigo Video Biography A few weeks after Olivia Rodrigo’s “drivers license” became the biggest song in the world, Saturday Night Live ran a sketch that featured a bunch of middle-aged guys shooting pool in a dive bar. One puts “drivers license” on the jukebox. Another complains that it just sounds like a teenage girl sitting alone at a piano. By the end of their discourse, they’re all in tears, singing along. “I was driving around my neighborhood listening to really sad songs, like, crying in the car,” Rodrigo told Apple Music. “And I got home and I was like, ‘Maybe I’ll write a song about this: crying in the car.’” Rodrigo had tapped into a universal experience: The middle-aged guys weren’t teenage girls, but they’d also driven around listening to sad songs. Rodrigo was just 17 when the song came out, but she had been getting ready for years. Born in Temecula, California, in 2003, she started lessons in piano, voice, and acting as a child, and went on to star in Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. But, really, what could prepare you for breaking the global single-week streaming record for a female artist? Especially on your first single? And getting a nod from Taylor Swift in the meantime? (Along with “drivers license” winning the Apple Music Award for Top Song of the Year in 2021, Rodrigo’s debut LP, SOUR, was the Top Album of the Year and Rodrigo herself was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year.) Like Swift—and Lorde, too—Rodrigo has a knack for conjuring big feelings through small details: an ex singing along to their Billy Joel with his new love (“deja vu”), reading his self-help books “so you’d think that I was smart” (“enough for you”). Her content is all-caps, but her delivery is lowercase, lacing bedroom pop with a vulnerability and anger rare for teen pop: “Where’s my f***ing teenage dream?” she wonders on “brutal.” “I’m the biggest emo drama queen,” Rodrigo tells Apple Music. Maybe. But the key to letting it out is keeping it together. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2020 32 All I Want -OST- 2021 01 drivers license -1- MILLIONAIRE 2021 04 deja vu -2- 2021 01 good 4 u -3- MILLIONAIRE 2021 05 traitor -4- 2021 17 favorite crime -AT- 2021 36 jealousy, jealousy -AT- 2023 01 vampire -1- 2023 03 bad idea right? -2- 2023 07 get him back! -3- 2023 45 the grudge -AT- 2023 12 Can't Catch Me Now -OST- 2023 78 all-american bitch -AT- 2024 00 obsessed -4- 3 x #1 | 6 x Top 5 | 7 x Top 10 | 9 x Top 20 | 11 x Top 40 | 13 x Top 100 Social Media Olivia Rodrigo |
