Charts Commentary

Busta Rhymes rises to number one to knock Prince off number one, a spot he has held for 3 weeks with Black Sweat and Love. This is Busta Rhymes' biggest hit to date, with his previous high being his collaboration with Mariah Carey on I Know What You Want which reached number 2 in June 2003. However, he did reach number one for 5 weeks last year featuring on Don't Cha by the Pussycat Dolls.

T-Pain registers his first single on the charts with I'm Sprung. Keep an eye out for his next single, I'm In Luv (Wit A Stripper), currently bubbling under at number 46.

Infernal, the Danish dance act (not Swedish, as I mistakenly said last week) rise 14-9 with their catchy Eurodance song From Paris To Berlin.

From 11-20 come 2 new entries from Beatfreekz and Rihanna.

Beatfreekz register their first ever hit with Somebody's Watching Me, which I believe (don't quote me on this, I'm not entriely sure) samples Michael Jackson, or someone who sounds a hell of a lot like him.

Rihanna charts at number 15 with Unfaithful, the second single from her new album A Girl Like Me. The young Bajan singer has so far scored 2 number ones and a top ten hit - Pon De Replay and SOS both made number one for a week, and If It's Lovin' That You Want made number 9 in November 2005.
