Dannii is the type of act i enjoy a Greatest Hits from, i have artists like that where i would have bought some singles but never studio albums and would then buy a greatest hits. Even though i knew a fair percentage of her music it was when i bought hits and beyond i started looking into older album tracks and from there i discovered some songs from Girl.

I’m as much a Dannii fan as I am Kylie.

I’m just streaming her ‘Hits & Beyond’ now - the amount of bops she has are endless tbh and her music was everywhere on the gay scene during the Neon Nights era - such good times.

Even though she has moved on from music I love that she is still proud of her output.

Tbf, Girl and Neon Nights are the only albums you need to discover more deeply. NN is a gem

Girl wub.gif Possibly one of my favourite albums of all time - so many memories attached to that time too which ‘Girl’ was a part of. I really hope as Dannii honted previously we will get a vinyl release.

Even the ballad on the album, "It Won't Work Out", was pretty great too. Such a satisfying album. Definitely one of my favorites of all time, along with Holly Valance's "State Of Mind" album.

Loving all the Dannii love her.

I think it’s easy to forget the success she has had as she’s always been ‘Kylie’s sister’ in the UK media and never reached the heights of Kylie with her music career although she’s had an impressive 19 Top 40 singles and 2 Top 10 albums heart.gif

I always found it interesting that whilst Dannii was the child star in Australia and really well known that her music career didn’t take off over there.
