The song sounds so good live, love the performance. |

You Love Who You Love is terrific but she is so much more talented than the rest of this dreary, uninspired album. She desperately needs better taste and/or better A&R.

I'm tempted to give this album a listen out of curiosity just to see if it really is as bad as you're all saying

Giving it a spin now - still obsessed with ‘Can’t Tame Her’ so will see what the rest is like!

How did the basic 'On My Love' go top 20 and yet the bop that is 'You Love Who You Love' can't even go top 100? Seriously, sometimes I feel like the UK has no taste

I've finally given the album a proper listen all the way through and quite enjoy it. Even the slower tracks are fairly good.
Not sure if I'll come back to it as much as So Good and Poster Girl but its still early days. |

I thought it was a decent enough album personally. I saved You Love Who You Love, The Healing (this is lovely), Venus, and Soundtrack, and already liked End of Time and Can't Tame Her.
There were a few fillers that probably shouldn't be there on such a short album though, I agree. Was Memory Lane for a separate project altogether? I got Bravo Hits 124 today and it's on there, but not on Zara's album. |

Me sitting here still thinking 'You Love Who You Love' is just as basic as people are saying the rest of the album is x
(it sounds like a song Rihanna would have rejected in like 2008) |

And a song Rihanna rejected in 2008 would still be a banger x

I liked the album! Nothing groundbreaking but I didn't expect it to be, though it's a shame she didn't really explore the Can't Tame Her sound any further. Ammunition is my favourite of the songs I didn't already know!

Saw her in Manchester last night and wow what a performer! She really has star quality and her new album has been on repeat all day. Faves are Venus and ammunition (which came alive when sung live)
Really hope she gets her flowers soon because she deserves it. |

Also saw her live last night, after wanting to see her for like 6 years now and wow, she really didn't disappoint. One of my favourite gigs since probably Carly Rae Jepsen this time last year.
I don't know if I'm just super emotional these days, but I can't hear Venus (the song) without welling up, including live. And Can't Tame Her remains an 11/10 of a pop song that I'm SO glad she had in her back pocket for this era, which felt a bit make or break as to whether she'd ever have another hit again. |

I only just realised '1' was released worldwide, 'Can't Hold Back' is such a smash, an obviously Beyoncé inspired bop, not mad about that.
