Get Into You special edition coming wub.gif

Not her best work but would be here for the repackage treatment after ‘Girl’ gets its UK release.

Its 31 years since SYTWTG was released! That is why she posted the performance clip!

Dannii has always loved her versions production! This track is decent but does go on for too long !!

It’s a mess of an album - some highs and a lot of lows, poor Dannii though - the record label didn’t know what to do when the singles didn’t perform so threw every sound at it.

Get in to you era was so messy.

The delays and wrong single choices just messed it all up.

This is it was the only good single of that album era.

I mean... with regards to wrong single choices, did they really have better to choose from on that album?

Good point!

This is it maybe should have been the first single followed by:

Get in to you
This is the way
Be careful (Radio edit)

Loves on every corner is horrible!!!!!!! And Show you the way to go was nice, but an album filler.

Definitely this is it for the lead, i think the big problem with the album is apart from this is it there was nothing stand out about the songs and it was a mixed bag of sounds which didnt help, its easily an album i can fully understand why it didnt do that well. Girl for example was just completely mismanaged but get into you just simply isnt a good album.

This has been said a million times! This Is It was not recorded to be the lead single. This Is It was recorded with TITW only after the underperformance of SYTWTG & LOEC.

Dannii wanted a more grown up album, this album had huge gaps as the record company suggested adding more pop friendly songs.

GIY was released as a single months after TITW to promote the video collection!

That being said i do not listen to this album a lot. The material is not strong but is def more grown up than love and kisses.

Honestly, I think Love's On Every Corner would've done better with a more colorful video + promotion. I do not get what they were going for with the whole "goth girl who refuses to wash her hair" look. Add that they had a slightly odd release schedule for the formats + was released in a competitive time of the year and it was doomed.

Yes, 'This is It' was recorded as a panic single when everything was going down the toilet. It wouldn't have existed otherwise.

Well I'm glad it exists as it's one of her best for me.

Great find - it’s a beauty on vinyl wub.gif

I know there would be minimal interest/demand for it but would love to see it get a vinyl re-issue.
