i can't see Coronation Street winning more than 2/3 awards this year. I think Doctors will get 2/3 also especially the storyline, the scripting the acting everything was top notch for that.
Hollyoaks for best soap then Eastenders Doctors Coronation Street Emmerdale I think there is just too many CS episodes in a week and because of that it's gone down hill. |

Hollyoaks and Eastenders deserve to win the most awards this year for me eastenders has had a fantastic year..corrie has improved a bit this year and deserves 2-3 awards but i cant see emmerdale doing well as in general the show has been terrible all year.Im hoping at the worst eastenders will win at least 6 awards and they should be best soap, best storyline, best dramatic perfromance, best dramatic perfromance by a young actor, best single episode and best actress if they get those will be delighted and more will be a bonus.

What a brilliant year for Eastenders! Deserved best soap obviously. I'd say Robert deserved best actor as Sean, he had some pretty intense scenes. What the actual frig at Scott Maslen winning sexiest male Ridiculous! Nina very much deserved her award for Zainab. What a fabulous achievement for her. The Massoods seem to be the first ethnic minority characters that the viewers have really taken to and I think that's in great part down to the actors, Nina particularly. Obv she and Nitin deserved on-screen parternship too. Did Maisie as Tiff have any especially dramatic scenes? Either way she's good for giggles. Bah at Peggy VERY happy for EE though. Six well-deserved awards (one more than Corrie got!).

I love Hollyoaks but lets be honest its been rubbish for a while now so its hardly surprising it never won anything. At the moment it's not so good, but the stuff it was actually nominated for, they deserved most awards going That was when Hollyoaks really was on top! Max's death >>> Liam's Hard to believe that Whitney didn't get anything though! |

looks like what was hyped up to win didnt as none of the tony and whitney storyline won anything but eastenders won in categories i didnt expect and lost in the ones i thought they would win excpet for a few awards
when people vote in the awards they vote with their current view of the show and i think thats where hollyoaks may have lost out |
