Finished listening to them all and it's another pedestrian set of songs, to the surprise of nobody.
I'll be taking Marie's power schlager for my playlist, knowing full well that it will never win this in a million years (save for Helene Fischer mounting a hype campaign), nor would it escape the bottom three at Eurovision. To be fair, Ryk and Galant's songs are fine enough (the latter, though, just sounds like a weaker Pixie Paris to me and would do nothing at Eurovision, so what's the point). I can't remember a single thing about the others. Ryk probably is their best chance, I'd definitely prefer to see that in over what I presume is a frontrunner in 2004 German entrant Max (whose song I've never rated at all, despite its top ten finish). Grossstadtgeflüster is such a missed opportunity, even if they didn't submit an entry. I'd have headhunted them
