 Hellooooo, welcome once again to FSR Rontvia, I've lost count of how many times we've hosted this shindig, but all I know is that it's more times than anybody else has, so you're in safe and experienced hands!  As has been the case for the past few months, you will be confirming your entry anonymously and all of the entries will be revealed in the voting thread. Whether the contest takes the form of semi-finals or 'one big final' depends on how many participants take part. If it's 40 or more then we will run with semis, if not then we won't. It's first come first served, so if you try to confirm a song that somebody else has already taken, you'll get a rebounded PM and will have to pick something else. All of the entries will also be sent to the mods for their approval so don't be trying to confirm any of the recent Kelly Clarkson leaks, as the cheap-o-meter will siren and you'll be laughed out of the competition. Inspired entries only please, or at least songs that are likely to be unknown to most!PM me (gooddelta) the following: Country: Artist: Song: Link: A few rules: Nothing from the Eurovision Song Contest, and you can't send a song by the same artist you sent last month. Also, nothing from any artist that came top three in the last contest - so no to Chart Music (in both respects of the word!), Havana Brown and Misty Miller. You may not send anything that has been sent to a previous contest or cover versions of any former BJSC entries. You MUST NOT confirm in this thread, or discuss what you have confirmed in here. You may change your entry but don't take advantage of this and try to confirm something you consider cheap only to change at the last minute - trust that the mods will block out anything they consider uninspired. You have until 9pm, on Thursday 21st July to confirm your entry. If you confirm after this, it will not be accepted - this gives you a whopping 11 days so plenty of time. We're clearing heading for semi finals again then.
Iirc when I hosted I got 18 confirmations in that first half hour - I've never had so many PM's sent to me all at once. Batidas will be sending their confirmation shortly. |
