Will be interesting to hear it will the full production in place. I found the live version a little dull, but then my favourites of his are the longer tracks where he switches them up midway and this obviously isn't intending to follow that same vibe.

I'll wait to hear the full studio version before I make any opinion but so far it's not giving me a BOP alert!!!

Initial thoughts.... its on the dull and bland side.
Sounds like an album filler track than something launching a new era. |

Waited so long for him to do a ballad like this! Production and everything is perfect and apt this time of his career! Stunning! Better than anything on his last album!

I don't mind it tbh. I agree it's probably not the best song to launch a new era with, but I imagine they are thinking a song like this is better for his rep and a way to do less "damage control", than an abrasive, in your face pop banger would.
I probably won't listen to this out of choice again, because I just can't in good conscience support him anymore. It's a shame because he is insanely gifted and talented (I still stand by that... soz x) and FutureSex & 20/20 are great, all time eras for me - to the point he was my favourite male artist of all time. It's odd and a shame that I can't get excited for him and his eras anymore. |

It's... OK, but far from being his best.

I like it. Lovely chorus and nice production, even if it sounds like it could have been released 10 years ago. Still, I think it will do well now that I've heard it.

I quite like it on first listen. It's not something I'm likely to end up really loving but I think it is likely to be one of those that ends up being catchier than it seems on first listen

Not bad on first listen, nit sure how much I’ll go back to it though. It is better than his last album.
Sounds a little like a Justin Bieber song to me. |

It's nice enough to not skip if it comes on, but it won't be going on any of my playlists.

This indeed sounds like a Bieber track.

but isn't it the other way around, I'd say Bieber's whole discography is an attempt
at sounding like Justin Timerlake? |
