Out of interest which of Claire'solo album do you prefer, My Wildest Dreams or Euphoria?
Also a bonus round about her other album outside of Steps as a group!!

Its Euphoria for me aswell, i think with it been announced as a covers album my expectations would a little lower than if it was an album of new songs but its a nice upbeat album where my wildest dreams while has some nice ballads it all blends into one by the time you listen to it all.

Hands down Euphoria.

MWD is not a bad album and I loved the mini tour she done but the whole album is a bit bland and Matalan tbh.

MWD just needed a few more uptempo songs as it would have lifted the album more and would have also helped seperate the ballads and make them stand out more. The album generally just needed a better balance. I actually thought i would be only one voting for euphoria so the results already are a suprise.

These results would encourage her to record another covers album. You can bet.

I think/hope that it will encourage her to go full on pop rather than do a MOR album, pop/dance is clearly what Steps are known for an what people want and expect from Claire as a solo artist.

Assuming that Fascination are doing her A&R, I can't see them choosing for her good pop/dance songs that instead could go to Steps, who are already relying on covers here & there (since it's hard to find good original songs). There's a conflict of interest with Fascination also managing her, IMO.

It's understandable they would as Steps are the bigger name.

I actually went for the H & Claire album for the 2nd option - I think it’s brilliant but never seems to get a lot of love. I’d love a vinyl version of it (not that I want to give Plastic Pop any ideas laugh.gif ).

Apart from all out love which I live I always felt the album lacked some sparkle, I like the album but just wanted more heavy pop from it.

Yes, it's the one from my all-time favourite albums.

My Wildest Dreams coffee.gif More authentic, better production, some truly stunning ballads. I don’t understand why people don’t rate it more, it’s thoroughly Claire and she did herself proud.

Euphoria is… fun for the most part! But with the most familiar covers I feel I may as well be listening to the superior originals, while the lesser known covers to me, also happen to be the weaker tracks. The quality in terms of production value is a clear step down.
