Considerably later than planned, they are here! I just have one more set of votes to count and then I'll get straight into it. |

A few more things I should say:
- I wasn't too strict about getting the exact wording right, if I got where you were coming from I gave you the mark - After the correct asnwers you will see a list of 'incorrect answers' - this list isn't complete as I got bored and some answers took the mickey a bit! - For the few of you who tried to be smart (or didn't fully get the rules) and didn't list your final answer in the first box, it won't make any difference as I added it in anyway. - If you didn't put an answer in the box, I went with your first correct answer from the list. If there wasn't aything in either, that's an incorrect answer. We got 33 players in total, so 32 points for an incorrect answer (and of course 0 for a pointless!) Comment along as we go along |

Q1: Artists who have had their first Top 100 hit in 2020
Newbie 24kGoldn was by far the best guessed here, which is absolutely no surprise as he's currently at #1, with his co-conspirator Iann Dior joint second-highest. After that we get a barrage of acts who have had their first Top 10 hits as well as their first Top 100 hits, and the lower down we get the more obscure we get, to acts liek WhoHeem and Vedo who I've never heard of. The most common incorrect answers are Doja Cat and DaBaby, who actually sneaked into the Top 100 just before the start of the year. paulgilb and Ansel got 11 correct answers apiece and win themselves a 3 point deduction. Sorry, slightly confused, so for my answer of Beth Porch, there were 2 of us who put her down but then was I the only one to put her as my final answer which is why I’ve got my name next to it?

My first time playing one of these and I didn't fully realise what the rules were - didn't realise I needed to list as many answers as possible to contribute to the 'survey'. Makes much more sense now, will play properly next time!

Q2: Artists who have collaborated with Sean Paul on a UK Top 40 Single
Our second question leads to some VERY high scoring answers. The top one is Blu Cantrell, with the evidently memorable Breathe feautring not only Sean Pual but Sean Paul and Sean Paul as well. The Saturdays are only one vote behind, and other very high-profile collaborations not too far back either. In fact no-one got less than 3 points on this question, which was quite a feat despite people guessing answrs no-one else managed to guess. Rihanna is the most popular incorrect here; she did make a song with Sean Paul, but it looks like it didn't chart. awardinary is the highest guesser - we have a three-way tie for second best, so they all get a deduction. Correct Answers 20 - Blu Cantrell - Rio309 Maestro Vibe Rogue oof 19 - The Saturdays - Cameron xajnipi 14 - Sia - Bjork StoneDragon 12 - Clean Bandit - awardinary Riser 12 - Beyoncé - RabbitFurCoat 11 - Dua Lipa - AaronTM 8 - Anne-Marie - Ansel jimwatts 7 - Sasha - Mack CianS Vulker Scene dj_tim_e 6 - Alexis Jordan - chrissmith276 6 - David Guetta - n4yr gavindeejay 5 - Little Mix - XhannahlongX 5 - Jay Sean - Dexton 4 - Simple Plan - M4NGO dan-G 4 - Keyshia Cole - paulgilb King Rollo TS0301 3 - Lil Jon - Dircadirca 3 - Becky G - Dan17F1 1 - Wiley 1 - Stefflon Don 1 - Idris Elba 1 - Cherish 0 - Fuse ODG 0 - Enrique Iglesias 0 - Matt Terry Incorrect Answers 2 - Rihanna 1 - Tove Lo 0 - Jennifer Lopez 0 - Mabel 0 - Lil Wayne 0 - Esmee Denters 0 - Fatboy Slim 0 - Bebe Rexha 0 - Maroon 5 0 - Kelly Rowland - Conderella Best Guessers 12 - awardinary 10 - CianS 10 - dan-G 10 - chrissmith276 9 - Maestro 9 - Mack 9 - Dircadirca |

Other games of Pointless on this site work slightly differently. |

Q3: Artists from France who have appeared on a Top 40 single
(going for one of his actual good songs) Some more high scorers here - the two dance megastars rack up the points, with Guetta just pipping Daft Punk to the post. The wonderfully alternative Christine 7 The Queens is the next most popular, followed by yet more dance acts and people I've never heard of. Two people guessed MIKA (who is from Lebanon) and Madame Monsieur (who are French, but have never touched the charts). France Gall also never charted, and Emilia is Swedish. paulgilb is once again the best guesser, with M4NGO and dj_tim_e also picking up the points. I appear to be doing ok so far.
I'm sure I also guessed Yelle and Paradis in the French question. No idea if they're right but don't appear in either list, though it doesn't really matter as was likely the only one. |

Q4: Things Niko B does in the Top 40 single 'Who's That What's That'
I feel a bit bad for adding this one because it put some people who were otherwise doing really well right off their tracks. A good number of people still managed to get either text her WhatsApp or Cops a Big Mac though, which are probably the two most prevalent lines in the song. I had a hard time trying to work out how to group the various things he does, as well as what was actually correct (I put 'gets pinned down by a bouncer' as incorrect as it was the bouncer who did it as opposed to him) but feel free to contest. Correct Answers 13 - Text her Whatsapp - Rio309 Bjork AaronTM Ansel dan-G 13 - Cops a Big Mac (milkshake & large fried that cost £4.50) - awardinary Mack Cameron Dexton 9 - Takes the gherkin out of the inside - oof Scene 4 - Dance in the street like Chris Brown - Rogue 4 - Bought 50p of Bitcoin and made £2 of profit - StoneDragon TS0301 2 - Dials 999 - Maestro Dan17F1 2 - Gets goosebumps - XhannahlongX 1 - Said 'Goodnight' - jimwatts n4yr 1 - Took her to meet his family - M4NGO 1 - Gets a Grey Goose for a good price - chrissmith276 1 - Eats an omelette - Riser 0 - Calls his friend's phone 0 - Gets her a taxi from the airport Incorrect Answers 0 - Ask 'Who's That What's That' 0 - Eats - Vibe 0 - Texts his mates - paulgilb 0 - Gets pinned down by a bouncer - CianS 0 - Walks down the street - Vulker 0 - Has a drink of coke - gavindeejay 0 - Sends a text - King Rollo 0 - Hangs - Conderella 0 - I guess he has a relatively unexpected top 40 crossover hit considering covid-19's cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020 - Dircadirca 0 - N/A I have listened to half of this song which was too much - RabbitFurCoat 0 - Does sign language - dj_tim_e Best Guessers 7 - Riser 6 - jimwatts 6 - M4NGO 5 - Maestro 5 - chrissmith276 |

I did a quick search of the OCC website and couldn't see either, by the end I wasn't putting all the incorrect answers in as I wanted to get to the results! |
