It's ABOUT TIME! After literally nothing has been normal since The Mamas snatched a surprise win by a single point last year, the gold standard of selection shows returns once again for six weeks of pop music deathmatch.

Obviously due to...the world in 2021, tonight's show will be slightly different from the last few years with no live audience and the smaller venue but from the previews it seems like the Swedes have delivered a super HD ready TV production to make up for it. We've got a returning bitter silver medalist, Sweden's equivalent to Take That, the luckiest schlager bitch in the game and the latest pop starlet among the competitors tonight all ready to compete tonight.

NU KÖR VI!

Really liked Kadiatou and suspect I'll be bopping to that on Spotify but I don't know if it'll be enough to escape the doomed 5th place position!

Yessica didn't slap as hard as 'Party Voice' but I can tell I'll be belting that out in the shower

JessAn's multi key change wind machine number should be good for Andra Chansen at least surely!

Paul Rey's staging looked like it was designed for a TV show with no audience wheras I think Kadiatou and JessAn could potentially be disadvantaged without a stadium of waving balloons behind them. Could that cause a gay upset?

Jessica's song might take another couple of plays, not as instant as Party Voice but not bad.

Paul Rey on the other hand made a bigger first impression with this song than with Talking in My Sleep, still not really caring much for it right now though.

Horizon is unsurprisingly my favourite so far, One Touch is quite decent too.

Paul Rey's was ok, and sounds like a grower. I really disliked the rock song.

Paul Rey was never going to be my cup of tea but it was decent.
