I listened to "Gladiator" earlier and didn't get the hype. This year needed something like "Solo", it's just sad that as good as it is, we're yet to get Margaret to Eurovision.

It seems to be because of two things: a) Blanka has connections with at least two members of the jury, Edyta Gorniak and Agustin Egurrola. b) They changed the voting rules to be in favour of the juries this year (Ochman won last year and that was the first time in recent years that the jury vote wasn't the Polish pick). To the most infamous NF voting system of all, public and jury each have, irrespective of televote numbers, a 12-1 to give out and in the event of a tie, the jury pick wins. Televote pick was Jann 12 points (could have been 1,000 votes ahead or 40,000 votes ahead for all it matters) and Blanka 10 points and would you look at what the jury decided, Blanka 12 and Jann 7. Blanka has a generic pop song if not completely terrible, Jann had a very intriguing dark pop song with great performance potential. Wrong choice but if they're gonna do nepotism and jury rigging, I wish them a very happy NQ. |

Disappointed with this. The song sounds dated and for a song that doesn’t require a big voice, the vocals are ropey as hell!

Ive just heard Gladiator and while the vocals on that aren’t much to write home about either (srsly Poland this is the best you could offer vocally after Ochman?!?!) but Christ this is lightyears better than Blanka. This is UK levels of f***ing up a National Final and it wasn’t even the public’s fault!!!
