Based upon one of the greatest and most well written independent comic series of the last 10 years written by Robert Kirkman. This series is created/directed/written/produced by none other than Frank Darabont, who you may know as the director of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. Basically, this is going to be the greatest television show this season.

F/X are screening the series from 5th Nov (Fridays), most likely after Dexter finishes.

ahh not many people in the UK will probaly catch it, i'm predicting a massive cult following. (sort of like Dexter which is on FX)

im gonna start re-reading all the comics in hype of the series. seriously im excited.

The second of only two new shows I will be watching this season. Have been pumped for this since the trailer debuted at Comic-Con, time has really flown by, can't believe it's premiering so soon. It's a shame though that it will only have a short run, so thank God then it has already been greenlighted for a second season of 13 episodes; so at least we can get into it without fear it is going to be cancelled after just six hours.

I still haven't read it, although I do intend to using that link you sent me, I just keeping forgetting to.

And I know Frank Darabont was getting really exctied about bringing in a female character next year (I think she is some sort of gunslinger and a fan favourite, but don't hold me to that) sorry I can't be more specific, I can't find the Empire article.

Miccohne? (or something like that i can't remember the spelling)
Play.com have got the comics to the series, I'm toying with purchasing a few, to ease me into the series, so I know some background info about the whole concept of the series. I use to collect a lot of comics when I was younger, most of them are in the attic, but I've never came across The Walking Dead until now. There is an 4 page article in this month's sci fi mag, very interesting.

The comics are a really good read, you get addicted pretty fast though. it sucks waiting for new issues.

It might be, my memory is rubbish.

Also, randomly, I found myself feeling quite sorry for the zombie woman who Rick says I'm sorry this happened to you, to.

By the looks of things us 3 are going to be the main contributors to the thread  I just want to get to grips with a brand new show, that's really going to take off. I love the zombie concept to the series. it reminds of that movie 22 days or something along those lines and District 9.
