All contestants gave 3, 2 and 1 points to their favourites in each pair of duels (apart from Botanikka who failed to vote, and have as such been deducted 6 points). Also 13 non-participants of the Andra Chansen round have voted, and these have been combined as a jury vote offering 24, 16, and 8 points to their favourite, the equivalent of the total vote awarded by the participants, so it's a 50/50 split. So will Botanikka's non-vote make all the difference? Will the jury and participants be split? And most importantly who will be seeing tomorrow night in Ashton? You'll find out VERY soon!

Quite a big gap, but not insummountable. So how did the jury vote?

Sorry FSR Rontvia, but the Corrs are going home to toss their own feathers tonight. And Numayania are the winner of the first duel! But can Bangkok City be stopped? Next up is Zechonia vs Greenfroze!

Oh, these results aren't anything like I'd imagined them to be. :D Admittedly, I wasn't entirely sure how the results would work.

Onto the second duel in Heat 1 - Zechonia vs Greenfroze

Zechonia received 5 points from the participants.

Greenfroze received 12 points from the participants.

 

So it looks like Greenfroze have this one in the bag. But what do the jury have to say about that?

 

Zechonia received 24 points from the jury.

Greenfroze received 8 points from the jury.

 

Total scores:

Zechonia: 29 points.

Greenfroze: 20 points.

 

So in an unexpected turn of events it's goodbye and goodnight to Greenfroze. Ayo is gonna dance her way to the top of the duel!

 

So who is the overall winner of this heat? Well just to remind you Numayania scored 32 points in the previous heat, and Zechonia have scored 29 here. so Numayania's song Bangkok City by Orange Caramel is the winner of heat 1 :cheer:

Glad Numayania won through to the final, the Ayo song was the only one of the eight that I didn't care for :(

So things are heating up and we're into Heat 2 - and round 1 is Botanikka vs Kylienips.

Kylienips received 16 points from the participants.

 

Have Kylienips taken the jury's hearts though?

However Botanikka were deducted 6 points for not voting. So what difference has that made to the total score?

So despite the six point reduction, Botanikka comfortably beat Kylienips with their Good Natured entry! But are they going til Ashton? We'll have to wait and see what Xanaga vs Kopečka brings in our exciting final duel!

We're about to witness the final exciting pair up Heat 2 - it's Xanaga vs Kopečka.

Well there's a turn up for the books, or as some people may say, a schlagerfiaskot :kink: Same Difference are history, and Ashley Tisdale is the master of the duel!

 

So who of heat 2 will be going til Ashton? Xanaga scored 25 points, but Botanikka scored 28! So somehow or other, going til finalen is Botannika!

Wow :o Botanikka's entry was easily my least favourite of those four, and through to the final despite a deduction too :o still a decent song though.

 

And FSR Rontvia/Kopecka wind up as the clear losers in Andra Chansen - so anybody who thinks we do well on name alone can think again :D

 

Well done Tom/Addy, still quite a few of the finalists I haven't heard but I'm thinking September vs. Veronica Maggio for the win and Wynter Gordon third.
