Max is quite big in Ukraine (quite known in Russia too). He'd have easily WALKED it, had they made him a finalist.

Strange to think that Ukraine and Russia were absolutely dominant for the best part of the noughties. After three years of MEH from both, is it not time that one or the other returned to form this year? :o

I reckon he'd come easily Top 5 for Ukraine.

Maybe they didn't go for it for being too similar to Aleksey Vorobyov's song and fearing an underwhelming finish position, but this one is an absolute CORKER!

Actually 'Dance' has now been accepted into the National Final. 22 participants then. It's Anastasiya Prikhodko situation all over again, only in Ukraine. She was accepted into Russian 2010 NF at the last minute, and won. No doubt Barskih wins too.

Well, Mika Newton came 4th for Ukraine last year, didn't she? That's quite a return to form, I'd say.

I completely understand this. Ukraine finishing Top 4 was like DOES SHE EVEN GO HERE? If Mika had been erased from all Eurovision records and Denmark became 4th instead of her, nobody would have even noticed :lol:

 

I so hope for that. Sadly, this year we will be having a NF. Nothing good happens when we hold NFs. 2008 being an exception. Also, we always do well when an internal selection takes place, last year aside. So no good is going to happen.

WOAH. Max Barskih was AMAZING. 'Dance' grew on me massively.

I f***ing hate that someone is talking over the eurovision.tv broadcast, with an incredibly awful russian accent.

 

Song #5. Nice bulge cliched song, but the singer's voice is awful.

 

Song #6. Voices aren't hard enough for the song. Like a kitten meowing along to a metal song. Learn from Georgia 2011. Plus the song itself is too trashy.

 

Song #7. GOOD GOD. This is so awful, on any possible level.

My GOD I just wasted 3 minutes of my life watching that, yet felt I had to watch the entire thing. Those backing singers sound like SHEEP. "I van tu loo(b)aaaaaaa...v". As for the male singer... :heehee:
