Jessie Ware secures a second week atop the chart with the summer sounding "110%" even though the British weather has suddenly decided to be anything but summer-like, it is her second No.1 hit of 2012, following "Strangest Feeling" which grabbed the first #1 of the year, ascending 2-1 on New Year's Day. Grimes makes further progress with "Oblivion" jumping 3-2, and is fast closing in on becoming the Canadian's second chart topper. Canada is represented well in the Top 5 this week, with Claire joined by another Canadian band at No. 5. Breaking into the Top 3 for the first time British outfit Alpines. Improving their chart position with each release ("Drive" made No.19 and "Cocoon" came frustratingly close to the Top 10 with a No.11 peak last year) "Gold"; a collaboration with Craze + Hoax (the duo behind Emeli Sandé's "Heaven" which made the Top 10 here last year), leaps from 8-3 this week. There's some more action in the Top 10 by way of Canadian's Purity Ring whose "Obedear" jumps 10-5, Italian group Porcelain Raft make their Top 10 debut with "Unless You Speak From Your Heart" climbing to No.9, and Ben Howard's "Only Love" jumps to No. 10 giving him his third Top 10 hit ("The Wolves" [No.5], and "The Fear" [No.8]).
