Järkangel are back for infinity! or until I get bored again :D We present the devastatingly talented Namie Amuro for your enjoyment this month with the rather understated, decidely luxurious ode to love, Only You.

Only You reminds me of a song from the West but I cannot figure out which...especially the chorus.

edit: HOLIDANNII! ( :D ), JRK-off, St. Joliver and now this :(

The people of Järkangel may still be nursing a hangover after Namie Amuro's shock top 10 finish in BJSC XLVI, but we already close to making a final decision regarding who will represent our great nation in the next contest. Although we won't go public with the four current contenders - a number of our neighbours are notorious thieves - we are offering a hint as to each of the songs:

SONG NUMBER ONE is sung by a Korean artist in his/her/their native tongue, although the artist in question also sings in Japanese from time to time. The song is a dark and sensual dance-pop number with a fast-slow-fast tempo, and it sounds a little bit like the Korean cousin of Girls Aloud's Sexy! No No No...

SONG NUMBER TWO is sung by a female J-pop artist in surprisingly perfect English. From the piano-house influenced verse to the bubblegum-electropop of the chorus, this track radiates joyous energy.

SONG NUMBER THREE is by a somewhat obscure Danish artist, sung once again in English. More understated and indie-leaning than songs one and two, this is bound to appeal to an audience who may not have been seduced by Only You...

SONG NUMBER FOUR is sung by one of the previous three artists and though it's something of a wildcard choice, we believe its expensive Europop production and floorfilling beats combined with a gorgeous chorus melody and soaring vocals are bound to see it through to the final of XLVII...

Over and out!

Sounds a bit familiar!

The Jarkangel jury have officially decided on our entry. At this stage we will reveal that it is NOT the mysterious 'song number three', which was...

So it's one, two or four. Once the semi finals stage begins the other two songs will be posted for your enjoyment. :D

Hot on the heels of our third top 10 finish in four contests with Le Youth, the Jarkangel jury are lining up a number of possible entries for the big one next month - the 50th BJSC! Currently in the lead is a house anthem with an evocative vocal and a delightful jazz section, but anything could happen in the coming days, so keep it peeled! Now that Jarkangel has established itself as a premier nation with a strong hit record, could L be the contest to take us stratospheric?
