Cool drum n' bass song that is shaping up to be a hit. Sampling Kanye's recent single 'Bound 2', but fortunately for all the vidcappers the rapping has been left out and it's only the Charlie Wilson feature that has been sampled.

The first single I've ever pre-ordered (already downloaded some Youtube-quality version while waiting) :wub: That's how good this is.

 

The single version features a different vocalist. Not as good. :(

 

Edit: Hmm, already getting more used to it after a couple of listens, but for me it's a definite step down from Charlie Wilson's original vocals.

And in other news that new vocal isn't sounding so bad now. UK #1 please.

Count me in as someone who's been blasting out a Youtube-ripped version of the original until the real one comes out. Listening to the actual single version...meh, I don't mind the new vocal but the whole thing including instrumentation just sounds slightly odd and inferior. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

Just listened to the 'new' version - it may help that I'd only heard the original bootleg a couple of times but I don't think it's any worse than the original. Shame he couldn't clear the sample though as obviously I seem to be in a minority. Fantastic song though anyway, hope it can be #1! Will slightly make up for 'Bound 2' not even going top 40.

Amazing song. They sampled the best bit of "Bound 2" as well! Can't wait for its release!
