VOTED. i feel REALLY bad for my 7 pointer because i never ever usually vote for this kind of music / this country even !! and they would've challenged a 12 any other contest, but that top 3 is a very strong 10/10. had a hard time deciding this one! a few surprises in my votes actually

This is definitely the highest quality final for a long time, it's possibly my favourite final ever actually. I'm not exaggerating when I say that all of my top 10 would've got 12 points in other recent contests!

 shocked to have made it, especially given the disaster Jai had last year (still not forgotten) but i guess this is a completely different affair to 'Str8 Outta Mumbai' so glad it's attracting some fans. And the deadline suits me well, will have a day to listen when i'm back in the UK next week, yay. And i'll make sure i'm flying Air France for the return too ~ |

'Jasmine' is different for sure but I actually think 'Str8 Outta Mumbai' sounds a lot more accessible so pretty surprised that 'Jasmine' made it.

'Jasmine' has since become my favourite from him (the demo and the album retouched version) and I think I remember 'Str8...' being in quite a silly bean semi so probably would have made it any other month (despite the hate it attracted)?
I've wanted to send this since first hearing, and now is so perfect time given I've just celebrated the wedding of one of my own loved ones also called Jasmine, and we're on 152 territory too, so it all fell into place perfectly this month. |
