'Bang Bang' is just a dated screech-fest unfortunately. Nicki Minaj was the only redeeming part, so yeah. 'Don't Call Me Angel' always had an advantage for me as I like Ariana, Lana and Miley (whereas I'm not huge on Jessie J, so her as the lead was never promising) and they all delivered an exciting song with no screeching in sight. The only dated element here for me is the music video feeling super 2000s but that is a good thing! Sonically it's more of what Ariana's current style is in places.

Don't Call Me Angel benefits from extreme freshness. I would therefore choose Angel right now, but I'll be interested to see how I feel in a year from now!
