They got no chance with Sunak, guy has no redeeming qualities. Until he is gone you can just dismiss them entirely

That’s the reason they are going to lose??

Yeah the Tories were on course to lose with or without Sunak. People will blame the loss on him, but truth be told it's not entirely his fault. Partygate ripped the party apart (no pun) and then Truss got the job, which was a complete car crash. I remember people being worried about Sunak taking power, but truth be told there was so much in-fighting that he never really regained control of the Party and now the far-right of the Party will leach on to the Conservative brand after Sunak takes the fall.

Problem is imo is that unlike America, while FFTP suits the two main parties, the smaller parties do hoover up votes, if the Tories vacate that middle ground which looks really likely, then not really sure what the strategy is.

That would leave the Conservatives with just 13 MPs. Hm, well I guess the Tories will have been 'hung' if that poll comes to pass..

..also, I'd be very drunk.

I’d still be surprised if they dropped to 102 seats and the snp to just 15!

Strange how there’s people who will still vote blue even after all that’s happened….whonare these guys!??

Not exactly narrowed though... Labour have increased by a point (over the Tories). But yeah I guess its narrowed to being between the two main parties.

Exactly what I meant and what always happens. If that happens then the tories will likely get the 150 seats they need for the election to not be an extinction event!

Yeah I think despite the polls/ what some of the seat calculator have the Tories at, I can see them performing better than expected (although that may just be me not wanting to be too optimistic about the Tories suffering a massive defeat)

Hoping the Greens will at least get their 2nd MP this election even on a reduced %.

And we haven't had the campaigns really start yet - they could really change polls right up to the last minute.

There's also the caveat of undecided voters.

I'm hoping this'll be the first election night in many years that will go better than I expected. Mainly the Tories winning their lowest number of seats in their 200+ year history... *_*
