“New music very soon, it’s literally round the corner”. I assume it’s an album given how she thanks fans for their patience… Will be interesting in lots of ways. All new music? Any old singles? She was stupid to follow up Let's Go Home Together with Risk It All. She should've released another midtempo/ballad as that is what obviously resonates with the public rather than her Dance stuff

ThAt was the most useless release I actually think they should have released the album right on the back of the success of Lets go home together, I doubt she will have such a big hit again |

I do like Ella Henderson, but her chart career has been quite frustrating - with decent sized hits, or absolute flops.
Will wait to hear this with interest - wonder what style it will fit into? The cover doesn't give much away. |

Her releases are so all over the place and you never know what to expect. Its good she is managing to keep her name out there though. |

I quite liked Take Care of You but Risk it All was an absolute dud. The Glorious EP was also pretty poor besides Hold On Me which was a very nice ballad.
If this is a prelude to an album it better be strong. Let’s hope I’m pleasantly surprised. Otherwise her talent will be rather wasted as a jobbing artist doing features and private gigs. This post has been edited by Marty: 3rd January 2022, 02:47 PM |

After tracking down the old YouTube performance of this and listening to the snippet a few times I do like it. Quite a rousing emotional song, which is her real strength.
It might do all right. |
