Listened to the new single first thing this morning and was so underwhelmed by it. Three more listens throughout the morning and it sounds so much better now. It's not Dancing In The Rain great and it's far from Amen, but Mike Stock has caught the 80s Bucks Fizz vibe from around their Are You Ready and Hand Cut eras. Looking forward to see the video.

The funeral episode was nice, but marred by the ridiculous rescue of Mark. "Make sure the money is in my account this evening" and off Mark goes... When Jon Lee was in it before, was he better than this time. There wasn't a lot of acting from him there, eh?

Knew that Angel of my Dreams would win, and it would have been a disservice for it not to have, even if it's far from being my fave. I watched the BRITS performance again the other day - the bit when she free falls through the elevated stage is still awesome to watch. FUFN is my second fave and it deserved to be huge. The video is too disjointed though with it stopping and starting. Plastic Box was my fave for a while. Deserves to be up there. Loved this rate as TSB has been my fave album for years and I have played it to death and still do.

At work, but have managed to get my headphones in long enough to listen 3 times. Very Coldplay but very Kylie. I like it. It's really warm and uplifting. Hope it has some chart success.

I have listened to Silent Disco a couple of times recently because of this thread, and it does stay in my head... but it's not a great song and defo in the bottom quarter of the album. Even Jade herself would never at that one.

I really love this song. Definitely Katy's best for me. Just watched the video. That's pretty perfect as well.

Reading about Life by Haddaway, I didn't know he had that and a song called It's My Life... Turns out he doesn't and the other one is actually Dr Alban. I've thought it was Haddaway for years!!!

IT Girl has actually become one of my faves of late. Probably since learning all the lyrics to the first verse.. Coulda woulda shoulda been a single, though going between the operatic bits and the verses is a bit too Angel OMD for it to have been the follow up. I don't like the visualiser as I hate seeing things being smashed up when they could have been put to use (though I also appreciate it's probably a bit like a rage room where the stuff wasn't fit for purpose or something).
