With 6 studio albums to choose from and a soundtrack, which album do you think contains Gaga's best lyrics. She's responsible for writing them herself, so where has she poured her heart out the best?

Are you a fan of Chromatica's hurtful lyrics, Born This Way's messages of self-empowerment or the dark undertones of The Fame Monster?

I'm going to say it could be Chromatica! So many of the songs have upbeat sounds but the dark, painful lyrics are absolutely cut-throat at times. It's such a great dichotomy. My particular favourites are "this is my dancefloor, I fought for", practically all of '911' and 'Replay' and '1000 Doves', the bridge in 'Alice' - I could go on!

Among the clever wordplay there is also the more outlandish FUN moments making it such a great lyrical album.

Hmm this is an interesting question. As TFM is so cohesive and short, I would say it has the best lyrics overall too. All other albums have their not-so-great moments. I have to think!
The best lyrics come when artists aren't in the right frame of mind.

I'd have to agree! Some of my favourite albums of all time were written at times of deep pain for the artist involved D:

I think Born This Way does for me.

I considered this because some of the lyrics are incredible - I love 'Heavy Metal Lover', 'Marry the Night' and 'The Edge of Glory' in particular. I feel like lyrically it falls short at times but it's definitely cohesive in the self-empowerment message which helps its cause.
